“三北”地区森林树冠火爆发的可燃物特征及防控策略研究进展

【摘要】 “三北”工程实施以来,天然林保护与人工造林显著提升了区域森林覆盖水平,但在全球气候变化背景下,“三北”地区森林潜在火险持续升高。树冠火作为森林火灾中极端火行为之一,具有火强度大、蔓延速度快和破坏性强等特征。“三北”地区针叶树分布广、人工林幼龄林比例较高,加之林下可燃物持续积累,增加了地表火向树冠火转化的可能性。森林可燃物是树冠火发生的物质基础,不同可燃物类型及其结构对树冠火发生具有重要影响。围绕不同可燃物类型,以及可燃物水平结构和垂直结构,综述了其对树冠火发生的影响,探讨了基于可燃物调控降低树冠火风险的理论可能性,并对未来树冠火的研究方向进行了展望,以期为“三北”树冠火防控与火后生态恢复提供科学依据。

【Abstract】 Since the implementation of the "Three-North" project, the protection of natural forests and the promotion of artificial afforestation have significantly enhanced the regional forest coverage. However, in the context of global climate change, the potential fire risk of forests in the "Three-North" region has continued to increase. Crown fires, as one of the extreme fire behaviors in forest fires, have characteristics such as high fire intensity, rapid spread speed and strong destructiveness. In the "Three-North" region,coniferous trees are widely distributed and the proportion of young artificial forests is relatively high. Moreover, the continuous accumulation of fuel materials under the forest increases the possibility of surface fires transforming into crown fires. Forest fuels are the material basis for the occurrence of crown fires, and different types of fuels and their structural and vertical structures have significant impacts on the occurrence of crown fires. This paper focuses on different types of fuels, as well as the structural and vertical structures of fuels, and summarizes their effects on the occurrence of crown fires. It explores the theoretical possibility of reducing the risk of crown fires through fuel material regulation and looks forward to the future research directions of crown fires,with the aim of providing scientific basis for the prevention and post-fire ecological restoration of crown fires in the "Three-North" region.
