【Abstract】 Against the backdrop of deep integration of artificial intelligence technology into the cultural and educational sector, AI empowerment has become the core driving force behind the transformation of university libraries into smart systems. However, the current gap between the AI literacy shortcomings of university librarians and the demands of smart services severely constrains the progress of smart library development. This article explores the core AI literacy needs of university librarians from the perspective of AI empowerment, analyzes the key issues in their current AI literacy, and defines the four-dimensional core components of librarians’ AI literacy—“knowledge, skills, thinking, and ethics.” It further proposes AI literacy cultivation strategies and safeguard mechanisms, including building a cognitive training system, focusing on the integration of library core functions, promoting the implementation of librarians’ new roles, and improving long-term training mechanisms, to support the high-quality development of smart libraries.更多还原
