【Abstract】 Drawing on Chen Chi-k wan’s traditional cultural upbr inging, his training in Be au x-A r ts classical architecture, and his modernist architectural studying experiences, the paper examines the Wesley House of Tunghai University in Taiwan Province through graphic analysis, focusing on four aspects: environment and topography, structural arrangement, spatial interweaving, and spatial sequence. It proposes the Wesley House is a prime example of integration of modernist structure and space. For Chen Chi-kwan, tradition, Beaux-Arts, or modernism all served the purpose of rational design.更多还原
