具有稳定自由基特征的界面控制乳液聚合体系
Interfacially controlled emulsion polymerization system with stable radical characteristics
【摘要】 以N-十二烷基-2,2′-亚氨基双[氧基(乙烷-2,1-二基)]十聚物为原料,采用过氧化氢氧化法制备其氧化物(AO-1210),并以AO-1210作为兼具乳化与稳定自由基功能的表面活性引发剂,在苯乙烯乳液体系中通过界面控制的活性自由基聚合制备出超高分子量聚苯乙烯(UHMWPS),此外还研究了聚合时间、AO-1210用量、水与苯乙烯质量比对单体转化率、分子量及其分布的影响。结果 表明,该聚合体系具有明显的活性聚合特征;UHMWPS的数均分子量可达2.53×10~6,多分散性指数为1.10~1.14;UHMWPS中间同结构质量分数可达86.6%。
【Abstract】 With N-dodecyl-2,2′-iminobis [oxy(ethane-2,1-diyl)] decamer as the raw material, its oxide(AO-1210) was prepared by hydrogen peroxide oxidation process, and using AO-1210 as a surfactant initiator with both emulsifying and stable free-radical functionalities, ultra-high molecular weight polystyrene(UHMWPS) was prepared via interfacially controlled living radical polymerization in styrene emulsion system. In addition, the effects of polymerization time, AO-1210 dosage, and mass ratio of water to styrene on monomer conversion rate,and molecular weight and its distribution were investigated. The results showed that this polymerization system exhibited obvious living polymerization characteristics; the number-average relative molecular weight of UHMWPS could reach 2.53 ×10~6 with polydispersity index of 1.10-1.14; the mass fraction of syndiotactic structure in UHMWPS could reach86.6%.
