【Abstract】 Osteoporosis is often accompanied by reduced alveolar bone density, increasing the risk of oral conditions such as periodontal disease and tooth loss. Simultaneously, oral diseases may accelerate the progression of osteoporosis. Although existing research suggests a correlation between them, the specific pathological mechanisms and causal relationships remain unclear, and attention to this field has been limited within China. Given shared risk factors such as age,hormone levels, and medications, the relationship between osteoporosis and oral diseases is gaining increasing attention.This article aims to review the correlation between osteoporosis and oral diseases and calls for further exploration of this relationship in future research to provide evidence for developing clinical interventions and preventive strategies.更多还原
