工程教育需要真正意义上的范式变革
Engineering Education Requires a Truly Fundamental Paradigm Shift
【摘要】 本文指出,随着人工智能技术的快速发展,工程教育领域需要一场真正意义上的范式变革。文中提出了未来工程教育的新范式——智慧范式。文章重点探讨了实现工程教育范式根本性变革的几个主要方面:从“知识导向”到“问题导向”的转型;突破静态的知识观:要关注被时间规定的物理系统的“个性化过程”;要模糊专业界限,允许学生自主设立专业方向;推动自主学习成为主要的学习模式,教师的主要任务不再是知识传授。本文特别提出智能时代卓越人才最需的“慧”:趣味与意识流,这也是传统教育长期以来所忽视的。
【Abstract】 This paper indicates that with the rapid development of artificial intelligence(AI),a fundamental paradigm shift is urgently needed in engineering education.The article proposes a new paradigm for engineering education-Zhi Hui Paradigm.The paper focuses on several key aspects essential for achieving this fundamental change: shifting from “knowledge-oriented” to “problem-oriented”;breaking away from static conceptions of knowledge: emphasizing the “individualized processes” of physical systems constrained by time; blurring major boundaries and allowing students to independently define their academic directions; promoting autonomous learning as the main learning mode, the primary task of teachers is no longer to impart knowledge.It especially highlights the core quality most needed for outstanding talent in the intelligent era-Hui taste, stream of consciousness, which has long been neglected in traditional education.
