基于EBM-GML模型的火电企业碳排放效率研究
Carbon Emission Efficiency of Thermal Power Enterprises Based on the EBM-GML Model
【摘要】 火电企业作为践行“双碳”战略的微观主体,提升其碳排放效率具有重要意义。以2015—2022年间25家上市火电企业为研究对象,基于火力发电行业的生产实际构建了碳排放效率评价指标体系,采用能够同时处理径向与非径向松弛的超效率EBM(epsilon-based measure)模型,并结合GML(global malmquist-luenberger)指数对样本企业的碳排放效率进行测算分析。研究发现:在样本期间内,火电企业碳排放效率总体呈上升趋势,有效火电企业的个数逐渐增加;不同企业的效率表现存在差异,中央实控企业碳排放效率高于地方实控企业,且提升幅度更为突出;技术进步是推动火电企业碳排放效率提升的主要驱动力。
【Abstract】 As micro-level entities implementing the “dual-carbon” strategy, thermal power enterprises hold significant importance in enhancing their carbon emission efficiency. A carbon emission efficiency evaluation index system is constructed based on the actual production characteristics of the thermal power industry, taking 25 listed thermal power enterprises from 2015 to 2022 as the research sample. This study employs the superefficiency epsilon-based measure(EBM) model, which can handle both radial and non-radial slacks simultaneously, combined with the global malmquist-luenberger(GML) index, to measure and analyze the carbon emission efficiency of the sample enterprises. The findings reveal that during the sample period, the carbon emission efficiency of thermal power enterprises generally exhibited an upward trend, with a gradual increase in the number of efficient enterprises. Heterogeneity exists in efficiency performance across different enterprises: central government-controlled enterprises demonstrate higher carbon emission efficiency than local government-controlled enterprises, and their improvement is more pronounced. Furthermore, technological progress is identified as the primary driver behind the enhancement of carbon emission efficiency in thermal power enterprises.
