【Abstract】 In the ideological perspective of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels,the value of investigation and research far exceeds simple data collection and fact-finding. Instead,it serves as a bridge connecting theory with reality and the abstract with the concrete,and constitutes an important methodology for advancing social sciences and even the entire body of human knowledge. Confronted with the intricate economic structures,class relations,and social contradictions of capitalist society,Marx and Engels consistently adhered to the implementation principles of people-centeredness,practicality,and criticality.
