【Abstract】 Elizabeth Bishop is a renowned 20th-century American poet, whose poetry is marked by distinct forms of mobility. By illuminating the tripartite dimensions of intellectual migration, trauma narrative, and heterotopic exploration in her works, this paper highlights their reflective qualities, including her subvertion of authoritative discourses, embrace of self-disclosure, and celebration of inclusiveness. Bishop’s poetics of mobility dissolves boundaries, transcends binary oppositions, and constructs a pluralistic network of meanings that connects humanity and the world through deconstruction and reconstruction. Rooted in a philosophy of “the other,” her work not only exemplif ies the openness and creativity of artistic writing but also offers insights into the inclusiveness and shared development of diverse civilizations and the reconstruction of value systems.更多还原
