【Abstract】 With the rapid development of animal husbandry and veterinary industry in China, the market demand for veterinary narcotic and psychotropic drugs is growing. However, due to their specific pharmacological effects, they need to be strictly controlled by policies and regulations. In order to further clarify the regulatory strategy, strengthen the management of veterinary narcotic and psychotropic drugs, and prevent the risk of abuse, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China jointly issued Announcement No. 800. This article elaborates on the historical background, main characteristics and significance of the announcement, and proposes management ideas and development suggestions for veterinary narcotic and psychotropic drugs in China, aiming to provide guidance and assistance for ensuring the legal, safe and rational use of veterinary narcotic and psychotropic drugs.更多还原
