【Abstract】 The cultivation principles and methods of Morchella spp. differ from those of most edible and medicinal mushroom species. This article points out that the cultivation of edible and medicinal mushrooms could be divided into four types based on the relationship between fruiting body formation and the culture substrate: fruiting from pure substrate,fruiting from substrate covered with soil, fruiting from an appropriate amount of substrate, and fruiting without substrate.The cultivation of morel(Morchella spp.) belongs to the category of fruiting from an appropriate amount of substrate,where exceeding a certain proportion of culture substrate would prevent fruiting. The technical essentials and existing issues of various cultivation methods including log culture, nutrient bag method, nutrient bag + nutrient medium method,nutrient medium method, and whole spawn cultivation method are enumerated and explained.更多还原
