【Abstract】 Pincus is a famous American scientist, he made a series of achievements in the field of animal sexual physiology, steroid hormone research. During his work at Harvard University, he mainly studied rabbit eggs, and was controversial because of the overly sensitive subject matter of his research, his own character and identity, and was eventually dismissed from Harvard University in 1937. During his time at Clark University, his research gradually shifted to the study of steroid hormones, during which he led and organized the Worcester Foundation for Experimental Biology and the Laurentian Hormone Conference, and gradually became an authority in the field of hormone research.
