【Abstract】 Watermelon facility cultivation is a labor-intensive industry with a large amount of labor and rising labor costs, which has increasingly become a limiting factor for the development of the watermelon industry.Moreover, as the years of cultivation increase, some problems in watermelon production, such as low water and fertilizer utilization rates, difficulties in precise fertilization, and severe soil-borne diseases, have become more prominent. In response to these issues, this article summarized the simplified and reduced-input cultivation technology for small-sized watermelons in facilities. This technology introduced the key techniques and specific operation methods, elaborated on the cultivation facilities, cropping schedules, variety selection, seedling raising, field management, and harvesting techniques for small-sized watermelons in facilities, and analyzed the advantages and benefits of this technology, with the aim of helping growers achieve greater economic benefits and promoting the upgrading of the watermelon industry.更多还原
