灰翅夜蛾在海南水稻上的发生及其近似种形态区别

【摘要】 近年来,灰翅夜蛾[Spodoptera mauritia (Boisduval)]在我国发生频率呈升高趋势,该虫与同属的斜纹夜蛾(S.litura Fabricius)、甜菜夜蛾[S. exigua (Hübner)]和草地贪夜蛾[S. frugiperda (J.E. Smith)]形态颇为相似,田间鉴别时易被混淆。为更好地区分上述几种害虫,利用COⅠ基因对采自海南水稻田的灰翅夜蛾进行了分子鉴定,并详细描述其卵、幼虫、蛹和成虫的形态特征,比较该虫与斜纹夜蛾、甜菜夜蛾和草地贪夜蛾的形态差异。研究证实了严重为害海南水稻的灰翅夜蛾属害虫确为灰翅夜蛾,其幼虫典型识别特征为头部的浅黄色倒“Y”形标记,腹部背面两侧具黑色眉状斑纹,侧气门线附近有紫红色条带。研究结果可为灰翅夜蛾的准确识别提供依据。

【Abstract】 In recent years, the occurrence frequency of Spodoptera mauritia(Boisduval) has been increasing in China.The S. mauritia demonstrates notable similarities in morphological characteristics with other species within the Spodoptera genus, including S. litura Fabricius(common cutworm/tobacco cutworm/tobacco caterpillar), S. exigua(Hübner)(beet armyworm), and S. frugiperda(J. E. Smith)(fall army worm). These species are susceptible to misidentification during field identification. In order to better distinguish the differences in morphological characteristics of these pests and provide a basis for the accurate identification of Noctuidae pests in the field, the COⅠ gene was used to conduct the molecular identification of the S. mauritia in Hainan rice fields. The morphological characteristics of its egg, larva, pupa, and adult were described in detail. In addition, a comparative analysis of the morphological characteristics distinguishing these four species was conducted. The results showed that the pest causing serious damage to Hainan rice fields is S. mauritia, with typical identification morphological characteristics including a light yellow inverted Y-shaped mark on the head, black eyebrow-like patterns on both sides of the dorsal abdomen, and purplish-red bands near the lateral spiracle line. This study provides a basis for the accurate identification of the S. mauritia.
