草地贪夜蛾对巨菌草的为害及其取食适应性

【摘要】 2023年8月,海南省三亚市崖州区首次发现草地贪夜蛾为害巨菌草(Cenchrus fungigraminus),为了解为害症状及取食适应性,开展田间调查,并在室内研究成虫对巨菌草和玉米的产卵选择性及在这两种植物上的发育繁殖情况。结果表明,巨菌草的受害状与玉米一致,田间平均百株虫量为26.85头,平均被害株率为30.24%,卵块比和着卵率分别为22.17%和29.69%,显著低于玉米上的数据。该虫能在巨菌草上完成整个世代发育,幼虫发育历期为17.25 d;内禀增长率r和周限增长率λ分别为0.21/d和1.24/d;平均世代周期T为39.59 d。种群年龄-特征存活率l_x和种群年龄-特征繁殖值l_xm_x均以取食玉米的草地贪夜蛾高于取食巨菌草的。综合得出,玉米比巨菌草更适合草地贪夜蛾生长发育。本结果可为研究草地贪夜蛾在巨菌草上的为害、分析其暴发风险提供依据。

【Abstract】 In August 2023,Spodoptera frugiperda was first found to be harmful to Cenchrus fungigraminus in Yazhou District,Sanya City,Hainan Province.To understand the damage symptoms of S.frugiperda on C.fungigraminus and its feeding adaptability,a field survey was conducted.Additionally,research on the oviposition preference of adult moths to C.fungigraminus and maize,as well as their developmental and reproductive biology,were carried out indoors.The results showed that the damage symptoms observed on C.fungigraminus were consistent with those afflicting maize.The average number of pests per 100 plants in the field was 26.85,and the average rate of damaged plants was 30.24%.S.frugiperda was able to complete the generation on C.fungigraminus and the larval development period is 17.25 days,which is significantly longer than that observed in maize.The intrinsic rate of increase (r) and the finite rate of increase(λ)were 0.21 d-1 and 1.24 d-1,respectively,which were significantly lower than those of maize treatment.The average generation period (T) on C.fungigraminus was 39.59 days which was significantly longer than that on maize.There was no significant difference in net reproductive rate (R0) between the two plants.The population age-specific survival rate (lx)and the population age-specific maternity (lxmx) indicated that the survival rate and fecundity of S.frugiperda feeding on maize were higher than those feeding on C.fungigraminus.Selective experiments showed that the egg mass ratio and egglaying rate of S.frugiperda on C.fungigraminus were 22.17% and 29.69%,respectively,which were significantly lower than those observed on maize.The above results showed that compared with C.fungigraminus,corn is more suitable for the growth and development of S.frugiperda.This study provided a scientific theoretical basis for investigating the damage and outbreak risk of S.frugiperda on C.fungigraminus.
