试论“和谐发展”是素质教育的核心及其对“全面发展”的深化
Harmonious Development: Core of Quality Education and Deepened Comprehensive Development
【摘要】 “素质教育”已提出多年,但其核心并未得到明确的认识。“和谐发展”应是“素质教育”的核心,即“素质教育”要以培养和谐发展的人为目标,从而进一步推动“和谐社会”和“和谐世界”的建设。“和谐发展”也是对“全面发展”的深化。中国传统文化历来重视和谐,并具有以之作为最高境界去追求、去努力的特质。
【Abstract】 The concept of “quality education” has been put forward for years and yet its core has not been clearly recognized. The core should be the “harmonious development, ” that is, quality education should aim at cultivating harmoniously developed people and further at promoting the construction of a harmonious society and world. In the meanwhile, “harmonious development” deepens the concept of “comprehensive development”. Chinese traditional culture has persistently stressed harmony and has the feature of sublimating and striving for it.
