传统网约车平台和无人驾驶网约车平台间的竞争策略演变

【摘要】 随着人工智能、大数据、物联网、云计算等新兴技术的发展,无人驾驶网约车将逐渐从部分城市试运营走向全面商业化运营,成为传统网约车的竞争对手。针对无人驾驶网约车的试运营和全面商业化两个不同发展阶段,本文研究了传统网约车平台的竞争策略演变和消费者盈余的变化。研究结果表明:传统网约车平台在全面商业化阶段应提供无人驾驶网约车服务,并且其针对无人驾驶网约车服务的最佳研发投资水平与研发投资成本系数等因素相关。如果无人驾驶研发投资成本系数足够低,那么无人驾驶网约车平台的利润和消费者盈余均大于传统网约车平台的利润和消费者盈余。本文得到的结论及管理启示可为传统网约车平台在不同阶段的竞争策略提供决策依据。

【Abstract】 In recent years,robotaxi service,an emerging form of ride-hailing service integrated with autonomous vehicle technology,has undergone pilot operations in several cities in China,forming a new competitive landscape between robotaxi platforms and traditional ride-hailing platforms.Nevertheless,in the face of the competition from robotaxi platforms,traditional ride-hailing platforms such as Ruqi Chuxing and Didi Chuxing are actively investing in the research and development of robotaxi services,and announce that they will provide both traditional ride-hailing services and robotaxi in the future.Consequently,as robotaxi advances towards full commercialization,the ride-hailing market will evolve into a new competitive dynamic between robotaxi platforms and traditional ride-hailing platforms that provide hybrid ride-hailing services.Therefore,in both the initial and developmental stages,facing the competitive robotaxi platform,it is crucial to pay attention to the possible changes in competitive strategies employed by the traditional ridehailing platforms,as well as the associated optimal pricing and R&D investment decisions.This study applies the research methods such as mathematical modeling and comparative analysis,and constructs a Nash game model to explore the evolution of competitive strategies adopted by the traditional ride-hailing platforms and their impacts on consumer surplus in the initial and development stages of the robotaxi technology.The research data used in this study are derived from publicly available industry reports and relevant literature,ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of the study.The findings of this study show that the traditional ride-hailing platforms will provide robotaxi services at the full commercialization stage,and its optimal R&D investment level for robotaxi is related to factors such as the cost coefficient of R&D investment.If the cost coefficient of R&D investment of robotaxi services is low enough,the profits and consumer surplus of the robotaxi platforms will be greater than those of the traditional ride-hailing platforms.The innovative contribution of this paper lies in its focus on the new problems of competitive strategies evolution and optimal decision-making of the traditional ride-hailing platforms in different stages of the evolution of autonomous ride-hailing technology over time.It also analyzes the impact of the evolution of robotaxi technology over time on consumer behavior choices,profits of the traditional ride-hailing platforms,and consumer surplus,which enriches the research on competition among ride-hailing platforms.The conclusions and management insights obtained in this paper can provide decision-making basis for the competitive strategies of the traditional ride-hailing platforms at different stages.
