【Abstract】 Jiangsu is the only province in China that has rivers,lakes and seas at the same time,and it is also a large economic province with limited resources and environmental capacity. Since the 18th CP C National Congress,General Secretary XI Jinping has visited Jiangsu five times for research and participated in the deliberations of the Jiangsu delegation at the National P eople’s Congress three times,and made important instructions for the construction of beautiful Jiangsu.As early as December 2014,General Secretary XI Jinping,during his visit to Jiangsu,clearly put forward the “environmental beauty ” as one of the distinctive signs of the construction of“strong,rich,beautiful and high ” new Jiangsu. In 2025,during the two sessions of the General Secretary XI Jinping participated in the deliberation of the Jiangsu delegation. It was clearly pointed out that Jiangsu should fulfil its responsibility of being a major economic province and should do its part in protecting the ecological environment. All this fully embodies the General Secretary ’ s consistent concern for Jiangsu ’ s ecological civilisation construction.Jiangsu deeply learns and implements XI Jinping ’ s thought on ecological civilisation,firmly shoulders the political responsibility of building a modernisation of harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature,synergistically promotes the high-quality development of economy and society,high-level protection of ecological environment and high-quality life of the people,the protection of the Yangtze River and the governance of the Taihu Lake Basin have achieved obvious results,and the construction of ecological civilisation has always been at the forefront of the whole country,and the land of Jiangsu has undergone a profound green transmutation and walked out of a path of the road of ecological civilisation construction that has distinctive features.更多还原
