【Abstract】 The leadership of the Communist Party of China(CPC) is both a conscious choice of the Chinese people and an inevitable outcome of China’s historical development. The CPC has always adhered to the fundamental stance of putting the people at the center. This constitutes the historical logic for the CPC’s long-term governance. As a mission-oriented Marxist political Party, the CPC has pursued national independence and the liberation of its people as the fundamental objectives since its inception. In the revolutionary era, the Party led its people in collectively selecting a revolutionary path tailored to China’s realities, and finally achieved the victory of the Chinese revolution. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the Party united and guided the Chinese people in promoting socialist transformation, steering the country onto the socialist path. Under the conditions of long-term governance, the CPC has always placed the people in the highest position, leading them in the endeavor to build socialism. Looking ahead, fulfilling the Second Centenary Goal, comprehensively advancing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through Chinese path to modernization—this is the sacred mission entrusted to the CPC as it leads the people in creating historic achievements.
