【Abstract】 As one of the pioneers, founders and leaders in modern Chinese drama history, Tian Han was not only a famous playwright but also an influential activist,and the connection of the dual identity embodies his lifelong artistic pursuit. Through his life-altering shift from politics to art, the rise and fall of the Southern Art Movement he initiated, and in-depth analysis of his representative works, this paper explores his Neo-Romanticism doctrine and his contribution to the People’s Theatre Movement. It delves into Tian Han’s distinctive perspectives on art, life, politics, society, and the world within modern Chinese theatre history, as well as his artistic pursuits and ideals of national rejuvenation amidst a century of epochal transformations.更多还原
