【Abstract】 This article provides an in-depth exploration of the research progress and future directions in atrial functional mitral regurgitation(AF-MR), with a focus on its pathological mechanisms, diagnostic approaches, and treatment strategies. In terms of diagnosis, it evaluates the strengths and limitations of imaging techniques such as echocardiography and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) in the detection and quantitative assessment of AF-MR. Furthermore, the efficacy and application prospects of various treatment modalities, including pharmacological therapy, transcatheter repair, and surgical intervention, are examined. The article also discusses challenges in AF-MR management, such as appropriate patient selection criteria and the evaluation of long-term outcomes, and proposes future research directions, including the development of novel biomarkers and the implementation of personalized medicine.更多还原
