【Abstract】 In the era of rapid technological advancement, artificial intelligence(AI) is profoundly impacting higher education, particularly in the field of college English teaching. This study explores the compatibility between AI and college English instruction based on constructivist learning theory and personalized learning theory. The study finds that artificial intelligence can meet the demand for innovative teaching models, enhance students’ personalized learning experiences, and demonstrate significant advantages in areas such as intelligent translation, writing feedback, and virtual dialogue.
