【摘要】 该研究基于1990—2022年间的“两会”总理记者会汉英口译历时语料库，依托评价理论的介入系统，考察报道动词作为介入资源的翻译偏移规律及交际效果，从而探讨外交口译操作规范的变化趋势及外交译员的能动作用。研究发现，存在介入偏移的报道动词句对总计接近半数，主要表现为报道动词的增译和省译，且30余年来报道动词的介入偏移程度稳步上升。译例分析表明，外交译员通过对报道动词的灵活调适，根据具体语境来压缩或扩展对话空间，有助于更有效地向国际受众传播中国立场和中国形象。该研究认为，报道动词的介入偏移特征反映了1990年以来中国外交口译“忠实”规范的宏观稳定性和微观变化性，同时也表明外交译员在政治话语国际传播中发挥着越来越重要的能动调适作用。更多还原

【Abstract】 With China’s rapid development, the speeches of Chinese leaders have attracted increasing international attention, which highlights the significance of diplomatic interpreting. Based on a diachronic corpus of Chinese-English interpreting from the Premier’s Press Conferences during the “Two Sessions”(1990—2022) and drawing upon the ENGAGEMENT system within Appraisal Theory, this study investigated the translational shifts of reporting verbs as engagement resources and their communicative effects, thereby exploring the evolving operational norms of diplomatic interpreting and the agency of diplomatic interpreters. The findings revealed that nearly half of sentence pairs containing reporting verbs exhibit engagement shifts, primarily through the addition or omission of these verbs. Over time, the degree of engagement shifts has steadily increased, indicating growing flexibility in interpreters’ handling of reporting verbs. Case analyses demonstrated that by adjusting reporting verbs flexibly, diplomatic interpreters contract or expand the dialogic space according to contextual demands, which enhances the effective transmission of China’s stance and national image to international audiences. The study concludes that the engagement shifts of reporting verbs reflect both the macro-stability and micro-variability of the “fidelity” norm in Chinese diplomatic interpreting since1990. Furthermore, it underscores the increasingly significant agentive role of diplomatic interpreters in mediating the global dissemination of political discourse.更多还原
