【Abstract】 Promoting the educator spirit and cultivating a large number of teacher-educators is an essential requirement for building a strong educational and sporting nation. Since modern times, three centenary sports giants, Zhang Boling, Dong Shouyi, and Ma John, actively shouldered the historical mission of saving and strengthening the nation, dedicating their lives to the educational and sports endeavors of the Chinese nation. Their extraordinary lives and remarkable achievements collectively highlighted the essence of the sports educator spirit. They set exemplary benchmarks for sports educators in the new era at different levels, providing significant references for accelerating the training of educator-type teachers. Analyzing the inherent logic of the sports educator spirit fully reflected the unity of the individual and the greater good, the integration of personal development and educating others, the combination of practical learning and innovation, and the harmony of emotion and sentiment.
