【Abstract】 Medical record management plays a crucial role in hospital operations, covering the comprehensive data recording and management of patients from admission to discharge. Effective medical record management not only supports medical decision-making, but also enhances the quality of medical services and the operational efficiency of hospitals. However, medical record management faces many challenges, such as issues of data accuracy and completeness, obstacles to system integration and information sharing, and insufficient professional training for personnel. Although modern electronic medical record systems have improved the efficiency of data management, they have also brought new problems regarding data security and privacy protection. To address these challenges, hospitals need to optimize the medical record management process, promote the technological upgrade of the system, and ensure the accuracy of data entry and the seamless connection of information sharing. Regularly training medical record management personnel, enhancing their professional skills, and strictly abiding by relevant regulations to protect patient privacy are the keys to ensuring the quality of medical record management.
