β成核剂改性PP/EPDM TPV的压缩Mullins效应及其可逆回复行为

【摘要】 以聚丙烯(PP)为树脂相、三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)为橡胶相,并在树脂中添加β成核剂,采用动态硫化法制备了PP/EPDM热塑性硫化胶(TPV),系统研究了β成核剂对TPV力学性能、压缩Mullins效应及可逆回复行为的影响。结果表明:加入β成核剂后,TPV的拉伸强度、拉断伸长率显著提高,撕裂强度也略有提升;纯TPV和β成核剂改性后的PP/EPDM TPV均表现出明显的压缩Mullins效应,但改性后的TPV在相同应变下,最大压缩应力增大,瞬时残余应变降低,表明其高弹性能得到改善;TPV压缩Mullins效应的可逆回复最佳温度为160℃。

【Abstract】 Using polypropylene(PP) as the resin phase and ethylene-propylene-diene monomer(EPDM) as the rubber phase, β-nucleating agent was added to the resin to prepare PP/EPDM thermoplastic vulcanizates(TPV) by dynamic vulcanization. The effects of the β-nucleating agent on the mechanical properties, compressive Mullins effect, and reversible recovery behavior of TPV were systematically studied. The results showed that after adding the β-nucleating agent, the tensile strength and elongation at break of TPV significantly improved, and the tear strength also slightly increased. Both pure TPV and β-nucleating agent modified PP/EPDM TPV exhibited significant compressive Mullins effect. However, the modified TPV demonstrated higher maximum compressive stress and lower instantaneous residual strain at the same strain level, indicating improved elastic properties. The optimal temperature for the reversible recovery of the compressive Mullins effect in TPV was found to be 160 ℃.
