韭菜花粉母细胞减数分裂观察
Observation of meiosis in pollen mother cells of leek
【摘要】 选取常见蔬菜韭菜花序为实验材料,以压片法制备花粉母细胞临时装片观察减数分裂过程。结果显示,韭菜的染色体较大,着色力强,图像清晰,易于找到减数分裂不同发育时期的细胞,尤其是减数分裂前期Ⅰ染色体的形态典型且清晰。韭菜花序取材容易,实验方法简捷,制片效果好,成功率高,适用于中学生物学教学。
【Abstract】 In this study, common vegetable leek inflorescences were selected as experimental materials, and temporary slides of pollen mother cells were prepared using the squashing method to observe the process of meiosis. The results indicated that leek chromosomes are relatively large, strongly stained, and produce clear images, facilitating the identification of cells at various stages of meiosis, particularly during prophase I where the morphology of chromosome was particularly typical and distinct. Using leek inflorescences for observation experiments on meiosis offer several advantages for experimental studies, including ease of sampling, simplicity of the experimental method, excellent preparation outcomes, and a high success rate, making it suitable for high school biology teaching.
