高分子量结晶性聚芳醚腈的合成与性能
Synthesis and Properties of High Molecular Weight Crystalline Poly(arylene ether nitrile)
【摘要】 传统的合成方法会导致高结晶PEEN在合成过程中易于析出,导致难以获得预期相对分子质量的聚合物,从而无法满足应用需求。本文以对苯二酚、2,6-二氯苯腈为原料,N-甲基吡咯烷酮(NMP)为溶剂,碳酸钾为催化剂,通过N2夹带的方式带走成盐过程产生的水,随后在高温高压条件下通过溶液缩聚反应制备得到相对分子质量约为44 800的PEEN。通过红外光谱(FTIR)验证了聚合物的结构与分子设计相符,并通过X射线衍射仪(XRD)证实了其为结晶型聚合物。结果表明,该PEEN在常规有机溶剂中具有良好的耐溶剂性,同时其具有高的玻璃化转变温度(Tg=185℃)和熔点(Tm=371℃)、较低的摩擦系数(μ=0.298)、优异的热稳定性[初始分解温度(T5%)525℃]以及高的拉伸强度(117.6 MPa)和弯曲强度(165.6 MPa)。此外,该PEEN样品在100 Hz~1 MHz范围内具有良好的介电性能,在1 kHz频率下,其介电常数和介电损耗角正切(tanδ)分别为4.18和0.011 8。该研究结果将为今后制备高分子量结晶性PEEN材料提供参考。
【Abstract】 Traditional synthesis methods can lead to the easy precipitation of highly crystalline poly(arylene ether nitrile)(PEEN)during the synthesis process, resulting in difficulty in obtaining the desired molecular weight of the polymers, which cannot meet the application needs.Catechol and 2,6-dichlorobenzonitrile were used as raw materials, N-methylpyrrolidone(NMP)was used as the solvent, and potassium carbonate was used as the catalyst.Water generated during the salt formation process is removed through N2 entrainment.Subsequently, under high temperature and high pressure conditions, the solution polycondensation reaction was carried out to prepare PEEN with a relative molecular mass of approximately 44 800.The chemical structure of PEEN was verified by infrared spectroscopy(FTIR).XRD results show that the PEEN is crystalline.It is found that the PEEN has good solvent resistance in conventional organic solvents.In addition, PEEN has a high glass-transition temperature(Tg=185 ℃)and melting point(Tm=371 ℃),low friction coefficient(μ=0.298),excellent thermal stability[temperature of initial decomposition(T5%)=525 ℃],and high tensile strength(117.6 MPa)and bending strength(165.6 MPa).Moreover, the PEEN has good dielectric properties in the range of 100 Hz-1 MHz, and the dielectric constant and dielectric loss of PEEN are 4.18 and 0.011 8 at 1 kHz, respectively.The research results provide references for preparation of the highly crystalline PEEN.
