综合性国家科学中心建设对区域基础研究能力的影响研究
Research on the Impact of Comprehensive National Science Center Construction on Regional Basic Research Capacity
【摘要】 基于2011-2022年我国30个省份的面板数据,采用双重差分估计考察了综合性国家科学中心建设对区域基础研究能力的影响。研究发现:综合性国家科学中心建设能够显著提升所在区域的基础研究能力,这一结论在多重稳健性检验下仍然成立;综合性国家科学中心建设对区域基础研究能力的促进作用因其区位的不同而存在差异。相比于中西部地区,东部地区综合性国家科学中心建设对区域基础研究能力的促进作用更强;综合性国家科学中心建设通过促进人才集聚和协同创新提升区域基础研究能力。
【Abstract】 Based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2011 to 2022, the impact of the construction of comprehensive national science centers on regional basic research capacity is examined using double difference estimation. It is found that the construction of comprehensive national science centers can significantly enhance the basic research capacity of the regions in which they are located, and this conclusion still holds under multiple robustness tests. And the promotion effect of the construction of comprehensive national science centers on the regional basic research capacity varies according to their locations. Compared with the central and western regions, the construction of comprehensive national science centers in the eastern region has a stronger effect on regional basic research capacity. And the construction of comprehensive national science centers enhances the regional basic research capacity by promoting talent concentration and collaborative innovation.
