沿边地区人口流失与人口现代化时空演化与空间互动机制
The Spatio-Temporal Evolution and Spatial Interaction Mechanism of Population Loss and Population Modernization in Border Areas
【摘要】 明晰沿边地区人口流失与人口现代化相互影响具有重要理论和实践意义。基于沿边9省112个市域第五、六、七次人口普查等数据,综合使用空间计量等方法,分析人口流失与人口现代化的时空演化与空间互动机制。研究发现:(1)沿边地区人口流失持续深化,具有空间邻近和经济导向特征。(2)沿边地区人口现代化水平稳步提升,不同梯度区域所含市域数量呈“倒金字塔”结构,其中东北人口现代化水平普遍高于西南。(3)人口流失会制约人口现代化,相反人口现代化会缓解人口流失,并以交通可达性和人口联系为载体,呈现“交通互联空间虹吸”“人口联系空间传递”“交通互联空间协同”和“人口联系空间差能”四类机制。(4)空间互动在3~4个省域空间尺度内较为稳定,其影响强度为:西北>西南>东北。
【Abstract】 It is of great theoretical and practical significance to clarify the mutual influence between population loss and population modernization in the border areas.Based on the data from the fifth, sixth, and seventh population censuses in 112 cities across 9 border provinces, we analyzed the spatio-temporal evolution and spatial interaction mechanisms of population loss and population modernization by constructing an evaluation system for population modernization and using spatial econometric models.We found that :(1)Population loss in the border areas has been deepening,while the inter-provincial mobility remained relatively stable,with obvious characteristics of spatial proximity and economic orientation.(2) The level of population modernization in border areas has improved steadily,and the number of cities in different gradient areas displayed an “inverted pyramid”structure. Among these regions,the modernization level of urban population in the northeast was generally higher than in the southwest.(3) Population loss restricted population modernization,whereas population modernization alleviated population loss,and was carried by traffic accessibility and population connection,thereby presenting four types of spatial interaction mechanisms: the“spatial siphon mechanism”and “spatial coordination mechanism ” of traffic interconnection,and the “spatial transmission mechanism ” and“spatial difference mechanism”of population connection.(4) The impact of these four interaction mechanisms was relatively stable within the spatial scales of 3 to 4 provinces. The intensity of interaction between population loss and population modernization followed the pattern: northwest > southwest > northeast.
