峨眉山地区麦地坪组小壳化石下组合带系统古生物学分析

【摘要】 小壳化石是“寒武系大爆发”中首批出现的生物骨骼化石,其特征与前寒武纪生物化石区别极大,为早期后生动物的演化研究提供了重要线索。峨眉高桥麦地坪剖面含有大量的小壳化石,但是研究时间较久远、研究程度较为局限,缺少进一步深入的研究,化石种属及亲缘关系的划分杂乱缺少系统生物学整理。根据对麦地坪剖面连续取样处理后得到的小壳化石进行鉴定确定化石种类,结合广泛认可的小壳化石种属及亲缘关系,与前人的分类描述与化石图版进行对比,对麦地坪组下组合带化石进行了系统古生物学分类。阐述了峨眉山地区麦地坪组小壳化石下组合带中有效的化石种属及鉴定与划分的依据,明确了四方塔形壳属Quadrapyrgites在川西南地区存在分布,为此地区小壳化石的深入研究提供支撑以及新材料。

【Abstract】 Small shelly fossils(SSFs) are among the first skeletal fossils to appear during the "Cambrian Explosion," characterized by their distinct differences from Precambrian fossils, which provides crucial insights into the early evolution of metazoans. The Maidiping section in Gaoqiao, Emei Mountain contains abundant SSFs.However, the research time is relatively long and the research degree is rather limited. There is a lack of further in-depth research, and the classification of fossil species and genetic relationships is chaotic and lacks systematic biological organization. Based on the identification of the SSFs obtained from continuous sampling of the Maidiping section and comparing them with widely recognized SSFs species and their phylogenetic relationships,as well as previous classification descriptions and fossil plates, this study conducts a systematic paleontological classification of the lower assemblage zone of the Maidiping Formation. This paper elucidates the valid fossil species, identification criteria, and classification basis for the lower assemblage zone of the Maidiping Formation in the Emei Mountain area, and confirms that the presence of the genus Quadrapyrgitesin southwestern Sichuan,which provides support and new material for further in-depth research on SSFs in this area.
