一种单独测定低能中子累积剂量方法的初步探讨
Preliminary investigation on a method for determining the cumulative dose of low-energy neutrons independently
【摘要】 目的 研究一种基于CR-39探测器单独测定低能中子(<100 keV)累积剂量的方法。方法 根据径迹蚀刻动力学理论,分析BN+CR-39探测器在受宽能谱中子照射后,与低能中子和快中子分别作用形成径迹的差异,提出在特定蚀刻条件下,可识别低能中子产生的径迹同时避开快中子径迹干扰的方法。结果 通过实验得出,BN+CR-39探测器(实验采用TASTRAK PADC型CR-39径迹片)在6.25 mol/L NaOH溶液中蚀刻1 h,可独立读取低能中子的径迹;其径迹密度与低能中子的周围剂量当量呈现出良好的线性关系,刻度系数为0.036 6μSv·tr-1·cm2。结论 本研究采用的BN+CR-39探测器对低能中子响应具有高灵敏度;所采用的径迹识别方法可有效用于低能中子剂量累积剂量当量的单独测定。
【Abstract】 Objective To study a method for determining the cumulative dose of low-energy neutrons( < 100 keV) independently based on a CR-39 detector. Methods According to the theory of track etching kinetics, the differences in the tracks formed by low-energy neutrons or fast neutrons in a BN + CR-39 detector under broad-spectrum neutron irradiation were analyzed. A method was proposed to identify the tracks produced by low-energy neutrons under specific etching conditions while avoiding interference from fast neutron tracks. Results Experimental results demonstrated that the BN + CR-39 detector using TASTRAK PADC CR-39 track-detecting plastic could independently detect the tracks of low-energy neutrons when etched in a 6.25 mol/L NaOH solution for 1 h. The track density showed a good linear relationship with the ambient dose equivalent of low-energy neutrons, and the calibration coefficient was 0.036 6 μSv·tr-1·cm2. Conclusion The BN + CR-39 detector proposed in this study demonstrated high sensitivity to low-energy neutrons. The track identification method can be used for effective and independent determination of the cumulative dose equivalent of low-energy neutrons.
