【Abstract】 Local chronicles of the modern Kham area serve as important historical sources for understanding the relationship between regional society and the state, yet their value in consolidating the sense of the community for the Chinese nation remains underexplored. This paper reviews the overall scope of local chronicles of the modern Kham area. Focusing on aspects such as state governance, cultural integration, and economic exchanges, it highlights their unique significance in witnessing the extension of state power to frontier regions and reflecting ethnic unity and the multiethnic integrated pattern of China. In future studies, systematic compilation and interpretation of local chronicles should be strengthened to expand their practical functions in patriotic education and regional development, thereby providing historical and documentary support for consolidating the sense of the community for the Chinese nation.更多还原
