【Abstract】 Chinese sports spirit is rooted in the traditional culture of the Chinese nation, but it is not formed under the influence of a single culture. The emphasis of Chinese sports spirit in different periods will be different. Using the method of historical analysis, literature and logical reasoning, this paper combs five ideological sources of Chinese sports spirit, which are: the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation, the red culture during the Revolutionary War of China, the Olympic culture from Europe and America, the Soviet sports culture from Asia and Europe, and the Japanese sports culture from Asia.
