【Abstract】 As an important component of traditional Chinese culture, embroidery art boasts a long history and exquisite craftsmanship. The Ming Dynasty work "The Embroidery Chart" meticulously documents the embroidery practices of women in the Jiangnan region through its concise text, providing crucial historical material for research. This paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the textual content of The Embroidery Chart, deconstructing the core elements of embroidery art-"cultivation, pattern, technique, material, and context". Furthermore, it elucidates the work’s contributions in "reflecting the development of Jiangnan embroidery during the Ming Dynasty, constructing a knowledge system of embroidery art, highlighting female self-awareness, and promoting the transmission of embroidery techniques", aiming to provide new perspectives for academic research on Ming Dynasty embroidery art.更多还原
