【Abstract】 Consolidating cultural subjectivity is a major proposition of Xi Jinping thought on culture. Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping has scientifically grasped the theme and mission of cultural construction in the new era and profoundly expounded the important role and significance of consolidating cultural subjectivity. The original contribution of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourse on consolidating cultural subjectivity can be summarized as follows: interpreting the fundamental principles within the logic of strengthening the foundation and nurturing the roots, emphasizing political nature; strengthening the cultural foundation within the logic of confidence and independence, emphasizing historicity; pointing out the direction of progress within the logic of inheritance and development, emphasizing contemporary nature; clearing the fog of thought within the logic of upholding the truth and innovation, emphasizing autonomy; and demonstrating global significance within the logic of exchange and mutual learning, emphasizing global nature. General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourse on consolidating cultural subjectivity constitutes a logically rigorous theoretical system that fully demonstrates the subjectivity implications of Xi Jinping thought on culture, providing scientific theoretical guidance for further developing socialist culture with Chinese characteristics, accelerating the construction of a socialist cultural power, and better shouldering the cultural mission of the new era.更多还原
