【摘要】 在追求绿色低碳发展路径、构建循环经济的大背景下,加快发展方式绿色转型已成为中国式现代化的显著特征。采用2012—2023年中国A股上市公司的数据,探讨高管海外经历能否促进企业绿色化转型问题。研究发现:高管海外经历对企业绿色化转型具有积极促进作用,通过内生性问题处理及多重稳健性检验后,该核心结论依然成立。同时,高管海外经历能够通过促进绿色技术创新、研发投入增加推动企业绿色化转型。进一步研究发现,男性高管占比较高企业、国有企业、东部地区、非制造业、重污染行业及劳动密集型企业中,高管海外经历对企业绿色化转型发挥着更为显著的促进作用。另外,高管海外经历对企业绿色化转型的促进作用有效助力企业高质量发展。企业高管海外经历视角深化了绿色转型的应用与拓展,丰富了高管特征与企业行为的研究内容,并为推动绿色发展战略的实施提供了微观层面经验支撑。更多还原

【Abstract】 In the context of pursuing a green and low-carbon development path and building a circular economy, accelerating the green transformation of the development mode has become a notable feature of sustainable development. Using data from Chinese A-share listed companies from 2012—2023, the question of whether executives′ overseas experience can contribute to corporate greening transformation was explored. The results indicate that executives′ overseas experience is conducive to facilitating corporate greening transition, a finding that remains valid after endogeneity and robustness tests. At the same time, executives′ overseas experience can promote corporate greening transformation by promoting green technology innovation and R & D investment expansion. Further research found that executives′ overseas experience in more male executives, SOEs, eastern regions, non-manufacturing industries, heavily polluting industries, and laborintensive firms contributes more significantly to corporate greening transformation. In addition, the facilitating effect of executives′ overseas experience on corporate greening transformation effectively contributes to corporate high-quality development. The perspective of corporate executives′ overseas experience deepens the application and expansion of green transformation, enriches the research content of executive characteristics and corporate behavior, and provides micro-level empirical support for promoting the implementation of green development strategies.更多还原
