【Abstract】 In the collective memory of the Chinese nation,the Chinese People’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression(the War of Resistance) is a heroic epic steeped in blood and tears,yet one that exemplifies national unity.The Yellow River,surging through millennia as a symbol of the Chinese nation’s lifeblood and spiritual totem,has long been intertwined with the history of the War of Resistance both in its geographical presence and cultural symbolism,forming deep interconnection.In artworks on the War of Resistance,the imagery of the Yellow River,as a medium that is set against the backdrop of the war and infused with the spirit of fighting for the survival of our country,recreates the history of the nation’s bloody struggle against aggression with artistic expression.Images are regarded as meaningful and interpretable systems of form,and are created to generate profound meaning and foster national spirits.Like a developer revealing the essence of national spirits,the imagery of the Yellow River bears the imprint of the Chinese people’s self-sacrificing patriotism,their united will to fight,and their unyielding national vitality during the war.It stands as both a visual testament to history and a torch passing on these spirits,continuing to illuminate the Chinese nation’ s journey toward great rejuvenation.更多还原
