秩序与融合——乾隆朝宫廷肖像画中的西北物象
Order and Integration:Northwestern Elements in Court Portraits Created During the Reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty
【摘要】 西北边疆一直是清王朝统治工作的重点,如何将西北地区松散的羁縻关系逐渐转化为更加稳定的从属关系和宗藩关系,是乾隆帝一直以来关切的问题。而乾隆朝宫廷肖像画中的不同元素,则直接或间接地体现了他对相关政策的思考。本文拟从乾隆朝肖像画中的各族嫔妃形象、西北各民族贵族使臣的着装差异,以及边疆贡物等内容入手,系统探究乾隆帝如何借助图像彰显清王朝对西北边疆的统治,以及运用视觉符号强化民族共同体意识。
【Abstract】 Affairs regarding northwestern border areas were always an important part of the governance of the Qing Dynasty, and how to turn the loose Jimi system in these areas into a more stable subordinate and vassal system was always on the mind of Emperor Qianlong. Different elements in court portraits created during his reign reflected his consideration on relevant policies directly or indirectly. This article systematically explores how Emperor Qianlong demonstrated his rule over northwestern border areas with paintings and strengthened the sense of community for the Chinese nation with visual symbols, by analyzing tributes from border areas, and images of concubines of various ethnic groups and different clothes of noble envoys from northwestern areas in portraits created during his reign.
