【Abstract】 There is a logical coupling between the new quality productivity and the construction of college civics and political science courses, and the former can stimulate the development potential of the latter, which provides a basis for the realisation of empowerment. The new quality productivity empowers the connotative development of the construction of college civics courses by serving the realisation of the goal of a modern and powerful country, the cultivation of the educator spirit of civics teachers, and the enhancement of the effectiveness of civics courses in educating people, and this is the inherent mechanism of the empowerment. Constructing high-quality databases, improving teachers’ digital literacy, creating visualisation platforms, and promoting the coordination and unification of content and form, theory and practice, and instrumental rationality and value rationality of Civics and Politics courses are the realistic paths for the new quality productivity to empower the connotative development of Civics and Politics courses in colleges and universities.更多还原
