【Abstract】 This paper aims to explore the standardized apartment layout design based on the Design for Manufacturing and Assembly(DFMA) concept, specifically targeting the needs of low-rise and mid-rise affordable housing in the Middle East region. Through the analysis of specific environmental conditions, cultural habits, and residential needs in the Middle East region, combined with the DFMA concept, it intends to propose a standardized apartment layout design scheme that is efficient, economical, and meets local demands. The research covers the optimized layout and standardized design of main functional areas such as the living room, bedroom, dining room, kitchen, and bathroom, and demonstrates the feasibility and practicality of the design concept through specific examples. The findings of this research are of great significance for enhancing the construction efficiency, reducing costs, and improving living conditions for affordable housing in the Middle East region.更多还原
