【Abstract】 Low-carbon design has emerged as a research focus in architecture, particularly within micro-living spaces. This approach serves as a strategic response to national dual-carbon goals and aims to promote sustainable development in residential buildings. This study conducted a comprehensive review of literature from CNKI and Web of Science to assess the impact of carbon emissions associated with living spaces and residential behaviors, building upon existing research related to health and habitability. Employing Pareto optimization, this investigation sought to explore the equilibrium between enhancing health outcomes and achieving low-carbon objectives. Future research should comprehensively understand the characteristics of interactions and mutual influence among spatial elements, behavioral trajectories, and carbon emissions. Leveraging new technologies could improve space utilization, enhance behavioral analysis accuracy, and enable real-time carbon emission predictions. This holistic approach offers theoretical support for creating healthy, livable, and low-carbon living spaces.
