【Abstract】 This article reviews the evolution of Beilin from its origins in Tang Dynasty cultural heritage preservation to its development as a modern museum, and analyzes its spatial foundation and historic spatial paradigm. Building on this, the author delves into the integration of the spatial relationship between the new and old buildings, particularly through the interpretation of the Confucian Temple layout, and the complementary design of the Beilin courtyard system. By incorporating landscape elements such as "courtyards" and "walls", the designer effectively connects the spatial order of the new and old buildings, emphasizing the continuity of cultural context while using modern design language to create a dialogue between the old and new space and foster a harmonious atmosphere.更多还原
