【Abstract】 This article comprehensively introduces Mrs. Gao Qi’s thoughts on vocational education,covering various fields such as basic theoretical issues of vocational education, the construction of the vocational education system, the development of vocational schools, the curriculum and teaching of vocational schools, vocational guidance and vocational training, etc. She is a pioneer in vocational education research in China. Research has found that Gao Qi’s research on vocational education theory has filled the gap in the basic theoretical research of vocational education in China. Many of her viewpoints have broken through the traditional understanding of vocational education and are forward-looking. Her research in the field of vocational education not only provides academic support for the establishment and implementation of vocational education policies in our country, but also offers excellent and operational suggestions for the practical improvement of vocational education.
