【Abstract】 Information technology has become an important pillar on which the global education system relies. In the era of informatization, virtual network technology and information technology in the education field have made unprecedented progress and demonstrated enormous potential, and also put forward higher requirements for teachers’ professional skills. The improvement of the quality and management level of medical education for international students in China is facing new challenges. This paper expounds the current situation and challenges of online teaching for international medical students in China in the information era with a focus on introducing the types and applications of online clinical teaching tools and patterns both in China and abroad.
