新形势下地学类通识教育课程的建设与实践——以东北大学“地球演化史的揭秘”课程为例

【摘要】 通识教育是高校人才培养体系中的重要组成部分。以通识选修课程“地球演化史的揭秘”为例,立足课程特点和实际情况,参考课程建设及实践经验,对课程开设意义、课程内容和课程特色等方面进行了探讨,同时提出了通识教育应优化传统的授课形式,论述了结合丰富的教学资源、采用灵活的教学方式、重视课后实践环节、融入思政教育等方面在新形势下建设通识教育模式的具体路径和措施,以进一步提高通识教育的教学效果,以期为其他相关课程建设提供参考借鉴。

【Abstract】 General education is an important part of talent training in colleges and universities. Based on the characteristics and situation of the course, and the experience accumulated in the constructive and practical teaching of Revelation of Earth’s Evolutionary History, this study makes discussion of the significance, content,and highlights of the course, showing that the traditional teaching forms of general education should be changed.The paths and methods for constructing the general education course in the new circumstances are proposed such as combining abundant teaching resources, adopting flexible teaching styles, emphasizing post-course practices, and integrating ideological and political education, to improve the teaching quality of general elective courses, and to provide examples for the construction of other related courses.
