【Abstract】 In the new era, the cultural leadership of the Communist Party of China is characterized by a distinct people-subjectivity nature. It is a concentrated embodiment of the “people-centered” development philosophy in the field of culture. Throughout the entire process of the socialist cultural construction with the leadership of the Party, the people always play the role as the main creators of culture, participants in cultural governance, evaluators of cultural values, and beneficiaries of cultural achievements. The “people-subjectivity” aspect of the Party’s cultural leadership has lofty goals and aspirations, specifically reflected in promoting the comprehensive upgrading of a better life, achieving shared spiritual homeland, stimulating cultural creativity to its fullest, and deepening cultural identity and cohesion. At the same time, it can inject innovative momentum into the Party’s overall leadership in the new era, strengthen the public’s defense of socialist ideological security, and consolidate the value consensus of the people in terms of spiritual prosperity, thus laying a solid people-centered foundation for building a great socialist country with strength in culture.
