【Abstract】 In the design of planar irregular building structures, the period ratio is an important indicator for assessing safety. The reasons for the period ratio not meeting requirements were analyzed, and a series of effective adjustment strategies were explored. The effectiveness of these strategies was verified through actual engineering cases. The study shows that the period ratio is closely related to torsional stiffness, and appropriately increasing the stiffness of peripheral components while reducing the stiffness of internal components can address this issue.更多还原
