【摘要】 本文选取一个全球化的视角，以美国经济学家E. R. A.塞利格曼作为枢纽人物，通过梳理他留学德国的经历与所得，以及他指导的十九位中国留学博士生求学与归国后的情况，来管窥德国、美国、中国经济学的发展，探讨经济思想在全球范围内缘起、传承与创新的路径和结果。文章涉及这些有海外留学经历的学者对经济学分支的界定、研究方法的突破、学术团体的建设、博士生的培养、政府智囊团的参与等多个角度。研究表明，以留学生为纽带，美国与中国这两条经济思想演进的路径是基本相似的，但是由于具体政治经济环境不同，过程和最终结果具有一定的差异。期望本研究可以对深入理解中国经济思想史乃至世界经济思想史提供一些有益的借鉴，同时也为提升经济思想全球化认识提供一些基础性的分析。更多还原

【Abstract】 This study adopts a global perspective,with the American economist E. R. A.Seligman as the pivotal figure. It sorts out Seligman’s experience and achievements during his studies in Germany,as well as the circumstances of the nineteen Chinese doctoral students he mentored,including their academic pursuits during their studies abroad and their experiences after returning to China. Through this exploration,the paper offers a glimpse of the development of economics in Germany,the United States,and China,and examines the paths and outcomes of the origin,inheritance,and innovation of economic thought on a global scale. The paper covers multiple dimensions related to these scholars with overseas study experiences,such as the definition of subdisciplines of economics,breakthroughs in research methodologies,the development of academic communities, the cultivation of doctoral students, and participation in government think tanks. Research findings indicate that with international students acting as a link,the evolutionary paths of economic thought in the United States and China are largely similar. However,due to differences in their specific political and economic contexts,there exist certain variations in the processes and final outcomes. This study aims to provide useful references for an in-depth understanding of both the history of Chinese economic thought and the history of world economic thought, while also offering foundational analysis to enhance the understanding of the globalization of economic thought.更多还原
