基于多周期MgO:PPLN可调谐光参量振荡器
Tunable optical parametric oscillator based on a multi-grating MgO:PPLN
【摘要】 研究了基于1064 nm激光泵浦多周期MgO∶PPLN晶体的高重频可谐调光参量振荡器。OPO采用重复频率可调的声光调Q Nd∶YVO4激光器泵浦多周期MgO∶PPLN晶体,理论计算了信号光通过晶体的单程增益并研究了单谐振情况下参量增益与极化周期的关系,分析了晶体温度、极化周期对准相位匹配接受带宽的影响。采用温度调谐与极化周期调谐相结合,实现波长在1.39~1.95μm范围内连续调谐。当重复频率35 kHz,极化周期为31.0μm时,在5.6 W的泵浦功率下,温度控制在60℃时,获得了0.51 W的最大信号光输出,对应中心波长为1601 nm。
【Abstract】 A high-repetition-rate tunable optical parametric oscillator based on a 1064 nm laser-pumped multi-grating MgO ∶PPLN crystal is studied.The OPO is pumped using a frequency-adjustable acousto-optic Q-switched Nd ∶YVO4 laser to pump the multi-grating MgO ∶PPLN crystal.The single-pass gain of the signal through the crystal is theoretically calculated, and the relationship between parametric gain and the grating period under single resonance conditions is investigated.The effects of crystal temperature and grating period on the acceptance bandwidth of quasi-phase-matching are analyzed.By combining temperature-tuning and period-tuning, continuous tuning of the wavelength in the range of 1.39 m to 1.95 m is achieved.At a repetition rate of 35 kHz and a grating period of 31.0 μm, a maximum signal output of 0.51 W is obtained at a pump power of 5.6 W,corresponding to a center wavelength of 1601 nm when the temperature is controlled at 60 ℃.
